Click on thumbnail for larger imageTechnically, I finished the blanket last month, but I didn't have good pictures of our official use of the blanket. The blanket was created for beach and/or picnic use, and the colors were intended to coordinate with our beach umbrella.
I thought a 6 ft x 5 ft blanket would be plenty big enough, and it probably is for regular use. However, photographing it underneath an 8 ft umbrella kind of makes it look tiny! Good thing I didn't add a border. I have a feeling I may add a few extra squares to make it 8 ft x 6 ft.

Nevertheless, we enjoyed it immensely. And, the best part was shaking off the sand and throwing it in the washing machine when we got home. So easy!!
