Kristin's Knit and Crochet Designs in Vogue Knitting, Spring/Summer 2009

In this beautiful issue of Vogue Knitting, there are two patterns featuring Kristin's designs: The Star Motif Pullover (knit) and the Crocheted Duster (crochet).
The Star Motif Pullover is knit is 6 distinct pieces - front, back, two sides and two short sleeves - that are seamed together. The deep bottom ribbing and cowl neck are picked up and knit after the body has been assembled. The sample sweater is worked in Be Sweet's "Bambino" yarn, an organic cotton/bamboo blend yarn.
The Crocheted Duster featured one of Kristin's original stitch motifs. The long cardigan has a tie front, scalloped borders, three-quarter length bell sleeves and an expanding open-flower motif. The halo produced by Wagtail Yarn's "Sportweight", a fine mohair/merino blend, adds to the ethereal effect.
