Today I want to show you how to join a square on two sides, including how to join in a corner. When joining in the corner chain 3 space, you have a couple of options. You can just slip stitch into the whole ch3 space, or you can slip stitch into the center chain of the ch3 space (into a single chain). If you slip stitch into the center CHAIN of the chain 3 space, and then join all the other 3 squares at that corner in the SAME center CHAIN, you get a very clean join. I think this is the prettiest of the joining options. Here is a closeup of the 4-color center, where all of the squares are joined in the center chain of the green square:
