Move over Oscars, there is something hotter: The Flamies!!! (wink, wink)

The Crochet Liberation Front proudly announces the first annual Crochet Awards, also known as the Flamies. Why Flamies? The Crochet Liberation Front has had an “award” on their message board on Ravelry that is called the “Flaming Crochet Hook of Justice” and so when they decided to sponsor the award, Flamie seemed the most appropriate moniker.

There are many categories, and many talented, nominated designers. I am proud and honored to be nominated for Best Crochet Designer for Women’s Fashions 2008. Thank you Crochet Liberation Front!
