First Published Book Available Worldwide

"The Encyclopedia of Crochet Techniques" by Jan Eaton is on newsstands now. It is the first book I contributed a design for, and the first one to hit the newsstands. Last year, I designed the Swirl Wrap Sweater for CrochetMe.com Magazine Fall 2006, and was asked by Quarto Publishing, in London, if they could use the photo and freeform swirl technique for the book. I agreed and now several months later, its on the shelves of bookstores. Yeah!

There is a new section on the StyledbyKristin website, called "Kristin's Book Recommendations", and I am writing a brief decription of every book in my personal library, and what I like about each one. There is a link to www.amazon.com to order any of the books that I recommend. Its a work in progress, as I have a very large library of knit and crochet books, and I want to be very careful in choosing the ones I truly recommend and enjoy.
