Lavender-scented Eucalan

 

My favorite way to block any knitted garment or swatch is to soak them in a warm, lavender-scented Eucalan bath. I love the lavender scent, it requires no rinsing and its so delicate for my handknits. I use Eucalan for anything that requires hand washing, (i.e. cashmere sweaters, silk sweaters, silk blouses, stuffed animals, etc...)

No Rinsing Required: Eucalan takes out the dirt with the wash water and leaves no residue. Your natural fibers are clean and conditioned in just one easy step.

lavender_sm.jpgWhy No Rinsing? Because of its low sudsing properties, it reduces the abrasion a garment goes through, lessens the danger of shrinking, and extends the life.

Good for the Environment: Unlike many other washing solutions, Eucalan contains no bleach or phosphates nad is 100% biodegradable.
